Veterinary Neurologist

We are a non‑profit, AAHA‑accredited specialty hospital located in Portland, OR. This role involves early‑stage service development and access to state‑of‑the‑art diagnostic equipment including a 3 Tesla MRI and a 64‑slice CT.

We also offer competitive pay, relocation assistance, and up to a $100,000 signing bonus for this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical management of neurology patients presented to DoveLewis
• Perform consultations, diagnostic, and surgical procedures
• Build a network of strong working relationships with the rDVM community
• Collaborate with the specialist team to develop diagnostic and surgical plans for patients with neurological needs

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent from an AVMA‑accredited school of veterinary medicine or certification through ECFVG
• Ability to be licensed in the state of Oregon
• Current ADCVIM (neurology) board‑certified or board‑eligible
• Understanding of and passion for a client‑centered practice
• Demonstrated eagerness or ability to educate, cultivate, and support an rDVM network to expand practice
• Any satisfactory equivalent combination of experience and training may be considered as a substitution.
