Job summary

Premier Veterinary Group - Chicago is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Neurologist to join our established specialty and emergency hospital on Chicago's northwest side. This is a full-time position offering the chance to develop a thriving neurology service within a collaborative, multi-specialty team.

You’ll diagnose and treat complex neurological disorders, utilize advanced imaging (MRI, CT), and mentor colleagues across surgery, internal medicine, radiology, critical

Qualifications

  • Board certification in Neurology or residency training required.
  • DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Illinois veterinary licensure.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage complex neurological disorders in companion animals.
  • Perform advanced neurological diagnostics and treatment planning utilizing MRI, CT, and other imaging resources.
  • Collaborate closely with Surgery, Internal Medicine, Radiology, Critical Care, Cardiology, and Emergency Medicine teams on multidisciplinary cases.
  • Participate in advanced case management, consultations, and ongoing patient care discussions.
  • Help develop and grow the neurology service in alignment with hospital priorities and patient needs.
  • Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care.

We're seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Neurologist to join our established specialty and emergency hospital on Chicago's northwest side. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a thriving neurology service while working alongside a highly collaborative team of specialists, emergency clinicians, and experienced support staff.

What You Bring
