• DVM or equivalent degree at the time employment begins.
• Residency training in ACVIM/ECVIM-Oncology and Diplomate of ACVIM/ECVIM-Oncology or eligible to sit for the specialty exam.
• Eligibility for faculty licensure in the State of Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Teaching clinical and didactic instruction for professional veterinary medicine and postgraduate programs related to medical oncology.
• Clinical service and research activities in oncology with collaboration across hospital services.
• Investigate and engage in scholarly activities and potential translational research.
