Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree required; residency training in Oncology preferred.
• Diplomate status or eligibility for board certification by ACVIM Oncology or European College of Veterinary Medicine Oncology is expected.
• Advanced degree (Masters or Doctoral) required or strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality treatment and patient care as a member of the medical oncology service.
• Participate in the clinical and didactic teaching of veterinary students; model professional conduct and provide case-based instruction and feedback.
• Train, mentor, and guide house officers (residents and interns) with consistent instruction and coaching.
• Build and maintain a strong translational research program in Veterinary Medical Oncology.
• Contribute to college, departmental, and hospital governance through committees and service activities.
