Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health in West Caldwell, New Jersey, seeks a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Medical Oncologist for a full-time opportunity at a state-of-the-art 45,000-square-foot facility. You will deliver advanced oncology care, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with internal medicine, surgery, radiation oncology, and emergency medicine teams.

Qualifications

• DVM and/or equivalent veterinary degree with eligible state licensure.
• Board Certification in Medical Oncology (DACVIM-Oncology) or Residency trained in Medical Oncology.
• Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.
• Passion for continuous learning, teamwork, and advancing specialty medicine.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced oncology care to patients with a wide range of cancer diagnoses, developing individualized treatment plans focused on quality of life and outcomes.
• Manage oncology cases in collaboration with Internal Medicine, Radiation Oncology, Surgery, Emergency & Critical Care, and other specialties.
• Oversee chemotherapy protocols and safe delivery of oncology treatments while ensuring USP 800 safety standards.
• Utilize imaging and radiation oncology resources to guide decisions and optimize outcomes.
• Mentor chemotherapy-trained technicians and staff to foster learning and teamwork.
