Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure.
• Board Certification in Medical Oncology (DACVIM-Oncology) or residency training in Medical Oncology.
• Excellent communication skills with a client-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced oncology care with individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with Internal Medicine, Radiation Oncology, Surgery, and Emergency & Critical Care teams.
• Oversee chemotherapy protocols and ensure USP 800 compliance.
• Utilize CT, MRI, and radiation oncology resources to guide decisions.
• Maintain proactive client communication and timely treatment updates.
• Mentor chemotherapy-trained staff and support ongoing education.
