Aufgaben

• Deliver advanced oncology care to patients with a wide range of cancer diagnoses, developing individualized treatment plans focused on quality of life, clinical outcomes, and compassionate patient care.
• Manage oncology cases in close collaboration with Internal Medicine, Radiation Oncology, Surgery, Emergency & Critical Care, and other specialty teams to provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary treatment plans.
• Oversee chemotherapy protocols and support the safe delivery of oncology treatments while ensuring compliance with USP 800 safety standards.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies, including CT, MRI, and radiation oncology resources, to guide clinical decision-making and optimize patient outcomes.
• Support daily client communication, including treatment updates, prescription refills, follow-up care discussions, and timely triage of questions throughout the patient's treatment journey.
• Build trusted relationships with referring veterinarians through proactive communication, collaborative case management, and exceptional specialty support.
• Guide pet owners through complex diagnoses and treatment decisions with empathy, clarity, and confidence.
• Mentor chemotherapy-trained technicians, assistants, and support staff, fostering a culture of learning, teamwork, and clinical excellence.
• Pursue opportunities to expand your expertise through ultrasound training, electrochemotherapy (ECT) training, clinical trial coordination, and other emerging areas of veterinary oncology.

• The anticipated starting base salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $200,000 to $230,000 per year.

In your day-to-day, you will:
