Job summary

Bay State Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Services (BSVESS) in Swansea, MA, is seeking a second Veterinary Oncologist to join our dynamic team and help expand our growing oncology services including medical and radiation oncology. Our 36,000-square-foot facility features a 24/7 ICU, advanced imaging, a linear accelerator and CT, plus a strong network with Ocean State Veterinary Specialists.

Requirements

Compensation

• Minimum Annual Base Salary: $180,000
• Maximum Annual Base Salary: $220,000
• Eligible for a production-based incentive of 25% of revenue received for services performed by the doctor.

Additional Leadership Opportunity Available

• For those candidates called to lead and are looking to take on additional administrative duties, they may also apply for the Lead Specialty Veterinarian role
• This role requires candidates to have 6+ years as a board certified oncologist, and strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• This is a hybrid leadership and clinical position, with approximately 50% of time spend providing direct patient care and 10%-20% focused on leadership, team development, and hospital initiatives.
• Leadership stipend is $20,000 annually
