Premier Veterinary Group is seeking a Small Animal Medical Oncologist or residency-trained DVM to join our 24/7 Emergency and Specialty Referral Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.
Our hospital has been a longstanding part of the Chicago veterinary community for over 20 years. We aim to expand our services by adding a dedicated small animal medical oncologist, providing opportunities for leadership and growth within our team.
Located on Chicago's northwest side, our facility is approximately 25 minutes from downtown and 20 minutes from Wrigley Field. The area offers easy access to international airports, making travel convenient. Chicago is renowned for its beaches, museums, restaurants, parks, and festivals, and is considered one of the best walkable cities with excellent public transportation and quality of life.
Our hospital spans 10,000 square feet in an open-concept layout, featuring two surgical suites equipped for minimally invasive procedures. We are remodeling our medical oncology suite to meet the highest standards of Ethos and USP guidelines. Our advanced diagnostic capabilities include digital radiology, ultrasound, CT scan, a 1.5 Tesla MRI, full scoping, high-flow oxygen, and mechanical ventilation.
Current specialties at our hospital include Surgery, Neurology, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Anesthesiology & Analgesia, Radiology, and Emergency. Our team is supported by skilled technicians, client care representatives, and management. We also employ a full-time social worker to assist staff and clients.
