Job summary

Mission Pet Health is seeking a Medical Lead Veterinarian for our Souderton, PA hospital. You will mentor associate veterinarians, partner with the Practice Manager to build a healthy, engaged team, and drive continuous improvement in patient care and client service.

This leadership role combines clinical practice with strategic oversight, setting standards for medical quality, recruitment and growth, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• DVM degree and valid state license required.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Understanding of hospital financials and operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor your DVM team with regular performance discussions.
• Model medical excellence in medicine, client service, and efficiency.
• Drive hospital performance in partnership with the Practice Manager and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Foster a culture of growth with meetings, CME, and recruitment efforts.
• Serve as an ambassador for the hospital within the Mission Pet Health network.
