Job summary

Nickerson Animal Health Center, part of National Veterinary Associates, Inc., is seeking a DVM to grow into a Medical Director leadership role or step into leadership now. The position offers autonomy, a collaborative team, and an opportunity to shape a well-established, AAHA-accredited hospital in Michigan.

You will lead clinical care, mentor staff, and partner with leadership to maintain high standards while enjoying a leadership pathway with development support.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent required.
• Eligible for Michigan veterinary licensure.
• Experience leading a team and mentoring staff desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care for small animals.
• Build relationships with clients through compassionate communication.
• Collaborate with veterinary support team to deliver outstanding patient care.
• Mentor and support team members while promoting a positive hospital culture.
• Partner with hospital leadership to maintain high medical standards and operational excellence.
• Grow into or serve as Managing Veterinarian with mentorship and leadership development.
