Job summary

Global Talent Partners is seeking a Veterinary Medical Director in Fishers, IN. This role leads a thriving small-animal practice with a broad caseload and opportunities to shape clinical standards and mentorship for the team.

Ideal candidates hold a DVM/VMD, Indiana license eligibility, and DEA registration. Strong leadership, superb communication, and interest in exotic-pet care are valued; expect a Monday–Friday schedule with limited Saturdays and no overnights.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DVM/VMD and be eligible for an Indiana license.
• Authorization to work in the United States and DEA registration or ability to obtain.
• Strong leadership or mentoring experience preferred.
• Comfort with general practice, routine surgery and dentistry, and team development.
• Excellent communication and client service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical leadership and uphold clinical standards.
• Mentor veterinarians, RVTs, and assistants; foster a collaborative culture.
• Deliver general practice care including wellness, internal medicine, dentistry, and soft-tissue surgery.
• Utilize on-site diagnostics to guide evidence-based care.
• Partner with leadership on protocols, workflow, scheduling, and client experience.
• Ensure regulatory and medical-record compliance; drive continuous improvement.
