Qualifications

• DVM/VMD from an accredited institution.
• Active veterinary license in good standing in the state of practice.
• DEA registration and other required credentials, as applicable.
• Several years of clinical veterinary experience.
• Leadership or mentorship experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality veterinary care including exams, diagnostics, treatment planning, surgery, and preventive medicine.
• Serve as clinical leader and maintain high standards of patient care.
• Mentor and develop associate veterinarians and medical team members.
• Promote a collaborative, positive hospital culture and staff engagement.
• Guide medical protocols, case management, and clinical decision-making.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve workflows and hospital operations.
• Maintain accurate medical records and support continuing education.
• Communicate clearly with clients about diagnoses and care options.
• Identify opportunities for ongoing medical quality and client service improvements.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary, safety, and regulatory requirements.
