Qualifications

  • Proficiency in routine soft-tissue surgery and dentistry.
  • Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel between assigned hospitals in the local area and work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor associate veterinarians across hospitals to ensure high-quality care.
  • Conduct hospital visits, quality reviews and coaching to elevate medical standards and client experience.
  • Recruit, onboard and mentor new doctors; develop future leaders.
  • Partner with hospital leadership to drive medical quality, efficiency and client-centered service.
  • Oversee medical equipment needs, maintenance and calibration in coordination with operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal regulations, including controlled substances and radiation safety.
  • Support a well-defined team structure that optimizes patient flow and leverages technician and client service roles.
  • Maintain clinical proficiency, including routine surgery and dentistry, and model best practices on the floor as needed.
