The hospital features an in-house laboratory, a dedicated surgical suite, diagnostic imaging (radiology and ultrasound), an isolation area, and support for oxygen and transfusion therapy to enable timely, thorough case workups. Efficient systems such as online appointment booking, same-day urgent availability, and a patient portal for prescription refills support smooth workflows. A collaborative, multi-role team of veterinarians, registered technicians, assistants, and client care professionals meets regularly for clinical discussions and continuing education, fostering mentorship and professional growth. The Role

  • Champion low-stress, patient-centered handling and clear, compassionate client communication
  • Partner with hospital management on scheduling, workflow, inventory, and client experience initiatives
  • Utilize in-house diagnostics, imaging, and the surgical suite for efficient, same-day workups
  • Full-time schedule typically built around four 10-hour shifts; hospital open Monday-Friday 8:00am-6:00pm and Saturdays 8:00am-12:00pm
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • License to practice veterinary medicine in Colorado, or eligibility to obtain prior to start
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Proven small-animal clinical experience with competency in surgery and dentistry
