Job summary

Wieuca Animal Clinic in Sandy Springs, GA is seeking a part-time Veterinary Kennel Technician to provide top-notch care for hospitalized pets and maintain a clean, safe environment.

You will feed, walk, cuddle, and reassure furry guests, monitor health, report concerns to the veterinary team, and assist technicians and doctors as needed. Prior animal-care experience is preferred, and training is available.

Qualifications

• Experience working with animals preferred; training offered.
• Comfort with lifting and cleaning duties.
• Calm, patient, and kind under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-tier TLC to hospitalized pets.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Providing top-tier TLC to hospitalized pets
• Feeding, walking, cuddling, and reassuring furry guests
• Cleaning kennels so well they sparkle like a freshly bathed Samoyed
• Monitoring pet health and reporting concerns to the veterinary team
• Assisting technicians and doctors when needed
• Becoming best friends with at least 3 dogs and 2 cats per shift (unofficial requirement)

Qualifications

You Might Be Our Person If You:

• Aren’t afraid of fur on your scrubs (it’s basically glitter)
• Can handle enthusiastic tail wags and the occasional dramatic Chihuahua
• Are calm, patient, and kind — even when someone hisses at you
• Have experience working with animals (preferred, but we’ll train the right human!)

Important Notes:

This job is active! Expect lifting (up to 50 lbs), lots of walking, cleaning, and the occasional “surprise” mess. It’s not always glamorous — but it’s always meaningful.
