Job summary

Bradford Animal Hospital in Brentwood, TN is seeking a full-time Kennel Assistant to support patient care and client service in a busy multi-doctor practice.

You will handle back-of-house duties, care for boarding animals, manage feeding schedules and medications, maintain the kennel, bathe pets, and assist with general cleaning while communicating with clients.

The ideal candidate is reliable, team-oriented, able to multitask, and comfortable working on-site on weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
• Prior customer service experience.
• Prior experience working with animals in a hospital setting.
• Ability to work in a wet environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain back of hospital duties.
• Care for boarding animals, manage feeding schedules and provide prescribed medications.
• Maintain kennel area (cleaning and mopping) and bathe animals.
• Support general cleaning of the hospital and communicate directly with clients.
