Job summary

VCSG in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a part-time Inventory Assistant to support the Inventory Coordinator with stocking all areas of the hospital, unpacking shipments, and ordering supplies as directed. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to lift and move items, and comfort working around animals.

Candidates must be available to work 8am–5pm on Mon, Wed, and Thu and up to four Saturdays per year, in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Available to work 4 Saturdays per year.
• Able to work 8am–5pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
• Comfortable around animals.

Responsibilities

• Support the inventory coordinator with stocking all areas of the hospital as needed, unpack shipments, ordering supplies as directed.
• Interface with multiple organizational levels and disciplines to review and maintain inventory.
• Assist in ensuring inventory levels are maintained to prevent disruptions in operations.
• Assist with inventory stock maintenance and quarterly counts.
• Assist with deliveries or pickup of materials from 3rd party vendors.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
