Job summary

Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists - NASA Parkway in Webster, Texas is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Internist to join a well-established Internal Medicine department. You will diagnose and treat complex medical cases with access to a dedicated endoscopy suite, 64-slice CT, advanced ultrasound, and fluoroscopy.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Texas licensure.
• Board certification in Small Animal Internal Medicine or completion of an approved residency.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and client-centered approach.
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a diverse caseload of complex internal medicine cases.
• Perform advanced diagnostic procedures and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize available diagnostic resources including endoscopy, CT, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy.
• Collaborate with Emergency and Critical Care clinicians and other specialists.
• Maintain strong relationships with referring veterinarians through timely communication.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration and learning.
