Job summary

Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists - NASA Parkway in Webster, Texas, seeks a Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist for a full-time role. Board-certified or residency-trained candidates are preferred to join a collaborative Internal Medicine department with access to advanced diagnostics and a strong emergency service.

The position offers ongoing mentorship, team collaboration, and opportunities to contribute to high-level patient care in a modern specialty hospital near Houston.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree with eligibility for Texas licensure.
• Board certification in Small Animal Internal Medicine or completion of a residency in Internal Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a diverse caseload of internal medicine cases.
• Perform advanced diagnostics and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize endoscopy, CT, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy resources.
• Collaborate with Emergency, Critical Care, and other specialists.
• Maintain relationships with referring veterinarians through communication.
