Job summary

Petco is seeking a Hospital Leader On Duty to provide excellent veterinary care and outstanding customer service in our full-service hospital. You will set the tone with clinical and support staff, ensuring cohesive, motivated teams that deliver compassionate care.

Working in the Petco Vetco Total Care setting, you will greet clients, assist with surgeries, monitor anesthesia, maintain EMR records, and supervise paraprofessional staff while upholding Petco policies and standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients and record vital signs in EMR.
• Assist doctors with routine and emergency appointments, surgery, dentistry, and euthanasia.
• Monitor calls, schedule appointments, and maintain client records.
• Help prepare patients for surgical and dental procedures and assist anesthesia.
• Train new staff and help maintain a clean hospital environment.
• Oversee hospital operations and supervise paraprofessional staff.
