Job description

Join a supportive team in a high-end, modern environment. Pet Groomers will perform top-quality grooms in a timely manner. Groomers should have current grooming experience and be able to consistently provide dogs, cats, and their owners with a high level of gentle and professional care. Job duties may include but are not limited to:

1. Clean the pet's teeth
2. Maintain an upbeat attitude
3. Calm an anxious dog or cat
4. Ensure company policies are being followed
5. Communicate effectively with clients to find out what is needed
6. Shampoo and wash a pet's hair or fur
7. Create a welcoming environment for pets and their owners
8. Cut or shave a dog or cat's hair or fur

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Proficient at grooming (at least 6 months of professional experience)
• Experience with sedated patients is preferred
• Ability to lift dogs weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work professionally
• Calming presence to pets
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team
