This role involves forensic expertise in collaboration with law enforcement, prosecutors, and the veterinary community. You will provide forensic veterinary case support, assist in evidentiary processes, and develop forensic protocols. Candidates must have a DVM or VMD, excellent communication skills, and a strong interest in animal welfare. A competitive compensation package is offered, including a salary range of $165,000-$176,000.

Formación

• 3+ years practice in veterinary medicine required.
• Courtroom testimony experience is a plus.
• Eligibility for licensure in New York State as a veterinarian required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide forensic veterinary case support for animal cruelty investigations.
• Assist in planning ASPCA-NYPD case field responses.
• Contribute to the development of forensic protocols.
