Job summary

Veterinary Referral Center of Central Oregon (VRCCO) seeks a detail-oriented Part-Time Facility Support Technician in Bend, OR. You will be part of our infection control team, ensuring a sanitary environment so doctors and nurses can save lives.

You will perform sanitation, floor care, waste management, and supply monitoring to support exceptional veterinary care and patient safety in our hospital setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clinical Sanitation: Deep clean and disinfect exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgical suites.
• Floor care: Sweep, mop, and operate floor scrubbers in high-traffic areas.
• Waste management: Dispose of general waste and recyclables; handle biohazards per safety rules.
• Lobby & public spaces: Maintain a clean waiting area and restrooms.
• Supply management: Monitor cleaning inventory and restock as needed.
• Exterior maintenance: Keep entryway and perimeter clear of debris.

We are looking for a detail-oriented, reliable individual to join our team as a Part-Time Facility Support Technician. This isn't just a "cleaning job"—you are a crucial part of our infection control team. Your work directly ensures that our doctors and nurses can save lives in a safe, sanitary environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Sanitation: Deep clean and disinfect exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgical suites following strict medical protocols.
• Floor Care: Sweep, mop, and operate floor scrubbers in high-traffic hallways and lobby areas.
• Waste Management: Safely dispose of general waste and recycling; ensure biohazard containers are handled according to safety regulations.
• Lobby & Public Spaces: Maintain a five-star appearance in our waiting area, including glass cleaning, dusting, and restroom sanitization.
• Supply Management: Monitor cleaning inventory and notify management when supplies need restocking.
• Exterior Maintenance: Keep the entryway and immediate perimeter of the clinic clear of debris or pet waste.

Qualifications

• Reliability: You understand that a medical facility cannot function properly without a consistent cleaning schedule.
• Stamina: Ability to be on your feet for the duration of a shift and lift up to 40 lbs.
