Job summary

Southern Oregon Veterinary Specialty Center in Central Point, Oregon, seeks a Facility Maintenance Assistant to keep our 24/7 emergency veterinary hospital clean, safe, and well-maintained. You will help with routine upkeep across emergency and care areas, including deep cleaning, disinfection, and supply distribution.

The role supports a team-driven environment with potential full- or part-time schedules, flexible shifts, and eligibility for holiday pay and bonus programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must pass a background check.
• Prior veterinary experience is not required, but highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for routine cleaning, upkeep, and general maintenance of the facility to include emergency and urgent care buildings, and indoor/external pet walking areas.
• Completes various tasks including deep cleaning of all rooms and zones, surfaces, walls, doors, ceilings, vents, and windows; stocking and distributing janitorial supplies; sweeping and mopping; and spot cleaning as needed.
• Assists in identifying facility and equipment safety hazards and reports deficiencies to management.
• Fulfills other duties as expected of a Facility Maintenance Assistant.
