Job summary

Renton Pet Clinic is offering a veterinary externship at our Renton clinic for 3rd and 4th-year students. You will work under a supervising veterinarian to gain hands-on experience across cases, from routine exams to surgeries, and support dental care.

Externs will practice gathering histories, forming treatment plans, diagnostics, and client communication, with opportunities to observe or perform procedures. Stipend available during externship.

Responsibilities

• Gather patient histories and perform physical examinations.
• Create and review treatment plans and diagnostics.
• Provide dental services and assist or perform surgical procedures.
• Medical management of patients and post-operative care.
• Develop communication skills with the veterinary team and clients.
