Job summary

Advanced Animal Care of Colorado is offering a Veterinary Externship. Students will work with supervising Associate Veterinarians to gain hands-on clinical experience, including patient histories, exams, treatment plans, diagnostics, dentistry, and surgical exposure.

Emphasis on communication with the medical team and clients. Externships range from two to eight weeks, with a travel/living expense stipend of $500.

• Externship experience in veterinary practice is described.
• Opportunity to gain hands-on clinical experience and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather patient histories and perform physical exams.
• Create treatment plans and diagnostics.
• Perform dentistry services and assist or perform surgical procedures.
• Manage medical care and communicate with team and clients.
