Job summary

Friendship Veterinary Center in a small town offers a Veterinary Externship for 3rd and 4th year students. You will work closely with the supervising veterinarian to gain hands-on experience in patient histories, exams, treatment plans, diagnostics, dentistry, and surgical procedures.

Externships range from two to eight weeks, with a travel/living expense stipend available for those in the clinical portion of their education.

Qualifications

• Vet students in clinical portion are eligible for externship.
• Externships offered to 3rd and 4th year veterinary students.
• Duration ranges from two to eight weeks depending on schedules.
• Clinical portion students may receive travel/living expense stipends.

• Gain experience gathering patient histories and performing exams.
