National Veterinary Associates offers a unique externship experience in Louisiana for veterinary students, providing hands-on clinical skills development under the guidance of Associate Veterinarians. Students will interact with patients and practice essential skills such as performing physical exams, creating treatment plans, and assisting in surgeries. The program duration ranges from two to eight weeks, and participants may be eligible for a travel/living expense stipend. NVA also offers a comprehensive benefits program for eligible employees.
