Externship Overview

An externship experience at an NVA hospital will give students the unique opportunity to understand the day‑to‑day operations of the practice and to gain valuable hands‑on clinical experience. All NVA hospitals share a supportive environment committed to excellent medicine and exceptional care for animals and their owners.

Program Details

Externship duration ranges from two to eight weeks depending on schedule, and is available for students in their clinical year at the Airline Animal Health and Surgery Center.

Qualified students are eligible for a travel/living expense stipend.
