Job summary

The University of Florida Veterinary Hospitals is seeking an Operations Manager, Equipment to lead equipment management, maintenance, and lifecycle programs within a clinical setting. This role oversees the Facilities Team and coordinates minor projects across UF Veterinary Hospitals.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and at least three years of relevant experience, with strong leadership, budgeting, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and three years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to manage equipment lifecycle, preventive maintenance, and vendor relationships.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Must pass post-offer health assessment and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for equipment management and maintenance.
• Oversee Small Animal Hospital Facilities Team.
• Coordinate minor projects across UF Veterinary Hospitals.
• Manage purchasing, capital planning, service contracts, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient clinical environment.
