Job summary

Mars Incorporated in Milwaukee seeks a Veterinary District Sales Manager - Royal Canin to lead territory growth by translating clinic data into business opportunities, building relationships with veterinary staff, and executing the Vet BU strategy in a field-based role.

The role requires 2+ years of sales experience, veterinary clinic exposure, and excellent communication skills. ABachelor's degree is preferred, and a company vehicle is provided. Travel 20–30% is expected.

• Possession of a driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, occasional weekends for conferences; approximately 20-30%+ travel.

• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs; grow clinics within geography.

• Execute Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy.
• Work in cross-functional, fluid environments; conduct quarterly business reviews and adjust strategies as needed.
• Manage expense and sales budget; complete CRM call reports and expense reports.

The Veterinary District Sales Manager is accountable for execution of the Vet Business Unit (BU) strategy and achievement of business objectives/KPI's by delivering account specific sales goals. This isaccomplishedbyidentifyingclinic opportunities andleveragingsales data. This role works cross functionally to grow relevance, access to clinics and Vet recommendation within assigned geography. This is an individual contributor role.

• Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
• Effectively execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team-based environment. Adept at working in highly fluid, complex, and ever-changing environments
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with Line Manager and routinely adjust the strategies, tactics, and investments based on changing needs to maximize territory performance
• Budget and reporting: Manage an expense and sales budget. Complete CRM call reports, expensereportsand presentations ina timelyandaccuratemanner
