Mars Incorporated in Cincinnati is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager to execute the Vet Business Unit strategy, deliver account-specific sales goals, and identify clinic opportunities using sales data. The role is field-based within the geography, cross-functionally building clinic access and Vet recommendations as an individual contributor.

This field-based role requires a Bachelor's degree, 2+ years sales experience (B2B preferred), veterinary clinic exposure, excellent communication

• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, occasional weekends for conferences; approximately 20-30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of our products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs; grow clinics within assigned geography.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within assigned geography.
• Develop and deliver compelling, data-driven presentations to address the unique needs of veterinary staff.
• Develops strong working relationships with key stakeholder groups across the BU & organization.
• Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
• Effectively execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team-based environment; adaptable to fluid, complex environments.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with Line Manager and routinely adjust strategies to maximize territory performance.
• Budget and reporting: Manage an expense and sales budget; complete CRM call reports, expense reports and presentations timely and accurate.

The Veterinary District Sales Manager is accountable for execution of the Vet Business Unit (BU) strategy and achievement of business objectives/KPI's by delivering account specific sales goals. • Ability to work in a cross-functional team-based environment. Adept at working in highly fluid, complex, and ever-changing environments
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with Line Manager and routinely adjust the strategies, tactics, and investments based on changing needs to maximize territory performance
• Budget and reporting: Manage an expense and sales budget. Complete CRM call reports, expensereportsand presentations ina timelyandaccuratemanner
