Job description

Port City Veterinary Referral Hospital is seeking a Criticalist to join our 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Our Team

Our close-knit hospital team includes 2 Internists, 2 Radiologists, 3 Surgeons, an Anesthesiologist, 2 Ophthalmologists, 2 Medical Oncologists, 2 Cardiologists, and a dedicated team of Emergency Veterinarians.

Facilities

Our current hospital features: 12 exam rooms, 3 surgery suites, a 30 cage ICU, an 8-table treatment area, endoscopy, continuous glucose monitoring, echocardiography suite, in-house blood analyzers, hi-flow oxygen unit, critical care ventilator, digital radiography, CT, and ultrasound.

Upcoming Developments

In early 2024, we will move to a new 26,000 sq ft purpose-built hospital, expanding our services to include Neurology and Radiation Oncology by 2025. The new hospital will have an updated 256 slice CT, Fluoroscopy/C-Arm suite, MRI, dedicated dialysis room, and a new Elekta Versa HD Linear Accelerator with IMRT, VMAT, and SRT capabilities.
