Job description

Are you a criticalist who would love to work at the beach and be a part of an exciting and rapidly growing program? If so, Eastern Carolina Veterinary Medical Center in Wilmington, North Carolina wants to hear from you! As the only 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital in coastal North Carolina, we have a high caseload of critically ill and injured patients. Our team is expanding, and we are looking to hire a Criticalist to further develop our Emergency & Critical Care Service. If you have always wanted to have your dream job at the beach, this is your opportunity to do so in a collegial and collaborative environment. Our team consists of 10 full-time emergency veterinarians who work in conjunction with specialists in surgery, sports medicine and rehabilitation, ophthalmology, and radiology. We are moving to a brand new 32,000 square foot state of the art facility. We are equipped with an MRI, 2 digital radiography units, ultrasound, a 118-slice GE CT scanner, flexible endoscopy, Snyder oxygen cage banks, full in-house IDEXX lab systems, arthroscopy, and a ForceTriad Electrosurgical Unit. The right individuals will have a strong desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-oriented environment with focus on excellent patient care and communication with clients and referring veterinarians.
