Greater Staten Island Veterinary Services would like to bring on a Board‑Certified or Residency trained Criticalist to our well‑established, rapidly growing 24‑hour emergency and specialty hospital!

Greater Staten Island Veterinary Services is located in the southern borough of Staten Island in NYC. The area is easily commutable to Manhattan, Brooklyn, the other boroughs of NYC, as well as NJ and Philadelphia—a short car ride away. This is a great place to live, with easy access to beaches, sports, arts, Broadway, entertainment, several airports, parks, shopping and more! Our hospital culture is collaborative and fun, and the veterinarians in this area have been referring to our family of hospitals for over twenty years. This location has enabled us to provide emergency and referral veterinary care closer to home for both our established clients and new clients in the Staten Island area.

How you will make a difference

As a Critical Care specialist, you will work alongside our board‑certified surgeon and ER doctors to serve Staten Island clients by providing cutting‑edge medical and diagnostic services. You will guide the department, support the emergency and surgical departments through consultation and case management, and elevate the knowledge and skill of licensed veterinary technicians and assistants, enabling them to provide the best care possible. As the only boarded Criticalist on Staten Island, you will be a point of contact for referring veterinarians, enabling collaboration and improved patient care across the borough.
