Job summary

RPh on the Go USA, Inc. in Bakersfield, CA, is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Supervisor to lead an experienced team in an animal health compounding pharmacy environment.

The role focuses on directing pharmacists, ensuring high-quality compounded preparations, and maintaining compliance with USP standards and 503A guidelines. The ideal candidate holds a California Pharmacist license, a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, and has substantial management experience in a compounding setting.

Qualifications

• Current California Pharmacist license in good standing.
• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited school.
• Minimum 2 years managing pharmacy staff in a lab setting.
• 25 years of compounding pharmacy experience.
• Strong knowledge of USP standards, state regulations, and 503A guidelines.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and effective communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of pharmacists to meet productivity and quality goals.
• Oversee daily compounding pharmacy operations and workflow.
• Ensure compliance with USP standards, state regulations, and 503A requirements.
• Maintain accurate training records and enforce proper compounding procedures.
• Assist in drug selection for dispensing and compounded products.
• Identify areas for process or formulation improvements to enhance operations.
• Collaborate with pharmacy leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Uphold confidentiality and comply with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
