Job summary

MedVet Medical & Cancer Centers for Pets in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a Specialty Veterinary Clinical Manager to lead Surgery, Medical Oncology, Radiology, and Cardiology while balancing clinical and administrative duties.

You will mentor and develop teams, coordinate scheduling, manage resources and finances, and drive exceptional patient and client experiences across departments. This role requires strong communication and a collaborative mindset in a fast-paced hospital.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in a management or leadership role in veterinary settings.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client and team interactions.
• Strong organizational abilities with multi-tasking in a fast-paced hospital.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop department teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Create and monitor staff schedules to optimize workflow and efficiency.
• Collaborate with service representatives on supplies and equipment needs.
• Influence department finances and health decisions in a growing organization.
• Provide onboarding, ongoing feedback, and development plans for staff.
• Balance clinical duties with administrative tasks (min 50%).
