The Animal Cardiology Center in New York City is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our specialty team. You will support our veterinary cardiologists and technicians in providing top-tier cardiac care to dogs and cats, with a focus on client communication and precise patient history intake.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a Veterinary Assistant in a clinical setting.
• Excellent client communication and patient intake skills.
• Confident in handling and restraint of companion animals.
• Working knowledge of veterinary terminology.
• Ability to budget time for the team and self.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Adaptable with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work independently, responsibly, and ethically.
• Open to feedback and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinary cardiologists and technicians to deliver high-quality care to dogs and cats.
• Assist with exams, diagnostics, patient history taking, and client communication.
• Participate in daily clinical workflows and maintain accurate records.
