Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health, part of the NVA Group, seeks a Veterinary Cardiologist in Bowie, MD. This full-time role offers collaboration with Neurology, Oncology, Radiology, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Ophthalmology, and ECC in a teaching environment with mentorship and ongoing professional growth.

Qualified candidates will have a DVM and DACVIM-CD or residency training, strong communication, and a passion for advancing specialty medicine. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with license eligibility in the state.
• Board certification in Cardiology or residency-trained/board-eligible in Cardiology.
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced interventional cardiology care for inpatients and outpatients.
• Perform and interpret echocardiograms, ECGs, radiographs, and Holter/telemetry.
• Collaborate with Internal Medicine, Oncology, Surgery, Neurology, and other services.
• Manage hospitalized cardiology patients and coordinate care across teams.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and communicate options to owners.
• Support in-house specialty consultations and rounds; participate in mentoring.
