Job summary
Veterinary Specialty Hospital North County in San Marcos, California is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Small Animal Cardiologist to join our growing specialty team. This role offers opportunities to advance a Cardiology service within a multidisciplinary hospital, with access to advanced diagnostics including MRI, CT, ultrasound, and a dedicated ICU.

Qualifications
- Board-certified or residency-trained small animal cardiologist required.
- Eligibility for veterinary licensure in California.
- Strong clinical and communication skills; collaborative approach.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced cardiovascular care for a diverse referral caseload.
- Perform comprehensive cardiac evaluations and develop diagnostic plans.
- Collaborate with internal medicine, surgery, neurology and other services.
- Utilize CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy and radiography to support cardiac cases.
- Mentor staff, engage in teaching, and participate in research opportunities.
