Philadelphia Animal Specialty & Emergency (PASE) in Philadelphia is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Cardiologist to join our 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital.
This role offers the opportunity to build and lead the Cardiology service, perform diagnostic echocardiography and ECG interpretation, collaborate with internal medicine, surgery and critical care teams, and mentor support staff in a supportive, team-focused culture.
Philadelphia Animal Specialty & Emergency (PASE) is a veterinarian-owned 24/7 Emergency and Specialty hospital located in the heart of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We are seeking a full-time or part-time, board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Cardiologist to join our collaborative team.
Our team includes: one internist, two criticalists, two neurologists, two surgeons, an anesthesiologist, oncologist, and radiologist (5-day a week ultrasound coverage), along with a 24-hour emergency department. We are committed to delivering compassionate care and practicing the highest standards of veterinary medicine for our patients and clients. We prioritize education, offering a range of in-house training for our support staff and CE lectures for our referring community.
Our facility is equipped with two surgical suites, a dedicated imaging room, Olympus scopes, CT, 1.5T MRI, ultrasound (Aplio i700) for echocardiography, digital radiology, in-house lab equipment, emergency ultrasound, and multi-parameter anesthetic monitoring equipment. We are proud of our strong reputation with referring veterinarians and foster a positive, supportive workplace culture for our dedicated team of doctors, technical staff, and management.
This is an opportunity to build and lead our Cardiology service from the ground up, working alongside a full team of experienced and passionate technicians and assistants, and in close collaboration with our Internal Medicine, Criticalist, and Surgery teams on shared cases. Our specialists work as a team, discussing difficult cases and covering each other's patients when one doctor is out of the hospital so that days off can truly be spent focusing on family and/or other life pursuits and passions!
