Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health in Colorado Springs is seeking a Veterinary Cardiologist to join a multidisciplinary team. The role offers a base salary of $190,000–$225,000 with additional production-based earning potential and relocation/sign-on support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide medical and interventional cardiology care for veterinary patients.
  • Perform and interpret echocardiograms, thoracic radiographs, ECGs, and Holter monitoring.
  • Collaborate with Emergency, Radiology, Neurology and Rehabilitation teams for comprehensive care.
  • Support development and growth of cardiology services within a multi-specialty hospital.
  • Utilize telemetry, oxygen therapy, CT, MRI and anesthesia support as needed.
  • Engage in mentorship and professional development within the department.

Education

In your day-to-day, you will:
  • Provide medical and interventional cardiology care, including diagnosis and management of complex cardiac cases.
  • Perform and interpret echocardiograms, thoracic radiographs, ECGs, and Holter or telemetry monitoring.
  • Collaborate closely with Emergency, Radiology, Rehabilitation, Neurology, and other specialty services to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Participate in emergency consultations and support hospitalized cardiac patients requiring advanced monitoring and treatment.
  • Help grow and develop cardiology services within a rapidly expanding specialty hospital.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic and treatment resources including telemetry, direct arterial blood pressure monitoring, oxygen therapy, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, and anesthesia support.
  • Access ongoing mentorship, collaboration, and professional development opportunities within a supportive specialty environment.
  • Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care.
  • Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning.
What You Bring
  • DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Colorado veterinary licensure.
  • Board Certification in Cardiology (DACVIM-Cardiology) or Residency Trained in Cardiology.
  • Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.
