Veterinary Specialists of Birmingham is seeking a Veterinary Cardiologist who is passionate about patient care and eager to work in a progressive, collaborative, and patient-centric environment. Our rapidly expanding 24-hour emergency and multi-specialty hospital, located in central Alabama, serves a broad referral base across multiple states. Our current services include emergency care, surgery, and internal medicine.
Our 12,000 sq ft state-of-the-art hospital (with room to expand) features 9 exam rooms, 3 surgery suites, a central ICU, paperless record keeping (ezyVet EMR and Smartflow Sheet whiteboard), CT, digital radiography, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, laparoscopy/arthroscopy, IDEXX laboratory, coagulation testing, oxygen generators, backup electrical generators, multi-parameter monitors, Ligasure, stapling devices, central oxygen and nitrogen, suction and anesthesia evacuation, doppler BP, ventilator, pleura-vac, surgical equipment, and oxygen cages.
