About the Position

Thrive Pet Healthcare is looking to add a Veterinary Cardiologist to the Heart of Texas Veterinary Specialty Center's team. Join our community of veterinary care providers to elevate your practice and provide top‑notch patient care.

Practice Overview

Heart of Texas Veterinary Specialty Center (HOT) is a AAHA‑accredited, Fear Free certified full‑service hospital, located in Round Rock, Texas, with a 15,000 sq ft facility. Services are available 24/7 to companion animals in Austin and nearby areas. Our dedicated doctors offer high‑quality medical care and specialized care is provided in Critical Care/Emergency, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Oncology and Dentistry. We work with an outside contractor for cardiology and a sonographer is available for imaging Monday–Sunday.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree
• State Veterinary Board license in good standing for the state where you will be hired, before the start date
• Active DEA license or eligibility for DEA license
• Board‑Certified or Residency‑Trained Veterinarian in cardiology
