Job Overview

Privately owned sister hospitals, mixed animal practice (10% farm animals, 90% small animals).

Hospital Features

• Ligasure for spays (must master without it if a new grad)
• Digital radiographs
• In-house bloodwork and pathology (cytology review)
• Tonovet, double surgical suite, isolation rooms, comfort rooms
• Newest hospital has a dedicated double dental suite
• Separate dog and cat entrances at both hospitals

Work Conditions and Benefits

• Negotiable hours and farm animal exposure
• Hosting veterinary externs and teaching opportunities (negotiable)
• Base pay based on previous job + production; hospital numbers available for review
• Full benefits: health, vision, dental
• License and membership fees paid (AVMA, PLIT, NCVMB, NCVMA, CE allowances, VIN, other memberships)
• PTO: 3 weeks based on hours worked, with flexibility for unpaid time off
