Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) from an accredited institution.
• Active or eligible Illinois veterinary license in good standing.
• Experience in a clinical veterinary setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex physical examinations on companion animals.
• Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans.
• Administer vaccines, medications, and perform surgical procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical records using software.
• Educate pet owners on diagnoses and treatment options.
