Our veterinarians strive to make a real difference in the lives of animals and their owners while working alongside a dedicated team of animal care professionals. ANIMAL MEDICAL CENTER OF CRYSTAL LAKE is a privately owned hospital that fosters a collaborative and supportive workplace where veterinary professionals can thrive, grow, and truly love coming to work. We have a skilled and dedicated support staff and provide in-depth diagnostics including ultrasound, and perform a wide variety of advanced soft‑tissue and orthopedic surgeries. Our clients have access to CT‑scans and rehabilitation services at our AHHA‑accredited location at The Animal Doctor in Cary, Illinois.

We offer a competitive salary that commensurates with experience and a yearly production bonus. Pro‑Sal pay options are also available for more experienced veterinarians. Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex physical examinations on companion animal
• Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions across a variety of species
• Develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans
• Administer vaccines, medications, and perform surgical procedures as needed
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records using practice management software and AI assisting software
• Educate and communicate with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care
• Collaborate with our DVM team members, veterinary technicians, assistants, and support staff to ensure high‑quality patient care

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited institution
• Active or eligible Illinois veterinary license in good standing
• DEA registration or ability to obtain one
• USDA accreditation or ability to obtain one
• Experience in a clinical veterinary setting preferred
• Strong diagnostic, surgical, and clinical skills aimed at reducing client cost of ownership
• Excellent communication and client relations skills
• Compassionate, team‑oriented, and committed to animal welfare
• Option for Part‑Time employment
