- Deliver course material in accordance with college curriculum.

- Utilize student achievement and learning outcome data to develop program improvement strategies and participate in formal processes such as program review, assessment, design, and evaluation.
- Demonstrate willingness to develop proficiency in all applicable learning methodologies through continuous improvement.
- Ensure the program consistently adheres to institutional, governmental, and accreditation standards.
- Participate as a subject matter expert in Industry Advisory Councils, Faculty Council, Assessment Council, and relevant industry associations.
- Build networks within the local industry for programmatic support.
- Engage in student service activities, such as orientation, clubs, appreciation events, outreach, enrollment, and career services events.
- Provide proactive student advisement and tutoring.
- Participate in departmental and programmatic activities.
- Mentor new faculty and participate in the Academy of Master Instruction mentoring program.
- Ensure program equipment and books adhere to the Standard Equipment and Book Lists.
- Help meet College standards for persistence, retention, graduation, third-party examinations, and placement.
- Maintain professionalism and accountability, modeling positive behaviors for students.
- Collaborate with interdepartmental colleagues to ensure program students receive learner support.
- Be on time and present as required, conducting full class periods.
- Act as a substitute instructor when needed.
- Complete other duties as assigned.

Education And/or Experience
- Associate's degree
- Veterinary Assistant Certificate of Achievement
- VA or RVT certified
- 3 years of experience

Mathematical Skills
- Proficient in calculating figures like percentages, area, and volume.
- Applies concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

- Must possess required certificates, licenses, and registrations for the courses taught.
Physical Demands
