BluePearl is seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Veterinary Assistant Level 1-2 to join our fast-paced Surgery Department in Tacoma, WA.

Responsibilities include:

• Scrubbing into and assisting with sterile procedures.
• Assisting with patient surgery prep and transportation.
• Helping with sedated or hands-free radiographs for specialty procedures and exams.
• Cleaning and sterilizing surgical instruments and preparing patients for surgery using aseptic techniques.
• Collaborating with a team of surgeons, LVTs, VTS, and assistants.
• Participating in staff meetings and hospital activities.

Compensation and Benefits:

VA Pay: $20.32 - $30.09/hr, dependent on experience and career level.

Shift differentials are available for night and weekend hours, with specific rates based on shifts.
